Augie is the founder and principal consultant of Identity Capital Consulting LLC based in Chicago, IL. His firm specializes in creating systems and tools that move leaders from introspection to actualized change that benefits those they serve. Born to a mother diagnosed with schizophrenia and an immigrant father who came to America after his tenure as a child soldier in the civil wars of Nigeria, Augie’s childhood was replete with extremes and experiences that would set the stage for his purpose - social and cultural impact work.
Augie’s latest book entitled, The Social Capital Quotient, was written as an ode to his journey as a leader in education and public service. He’s also a community business owner and co-founder at Dinobi Detergent, a family & minority owned plant based detergent company created for people with sensitive skin needs. Currently, Augie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management from Jackson State University, a Master’s of Arts in Teaching with a focus on diverse learning and an additional Master’s degree in School Administration & Organizational Change, both from Roosevelt University.
