I’m Augie—educator, speaker, and identity catalyst—passionate about sparking people-powered change.
My roots in underserved communities shaped my commitment to branding, purpose-driven leadership, and transformational movements that center human dignity—even in the workplace.
With two decades in education, including leadership roles and consulting alongside thousands of leaders, I’ve learned this: identity isn’t just personal—it’s capital. And when we lead from that truth, we create space for deeper impact and lasting legacy.
As lead consultant at Identity Capital, I help district leaders, HR teams, and nonprofit organizations align leadership with lived values—because real branding starts from within.
My academic path includes a Bachelor's in Marketing and Management from Jackson State University and two Master’s degrees—Teaching (focused on diverse learning) and School Administration & Organizational Change from Roosevelt University. I’ve also trained with New Leaders, a national principal development program launched at Harvard.
But the best part? I don’t do this work alone. Identity Capital is a collective of “Identity Catalysts”—leaders with different gifts and one shared purpose. Together, we build systems that reflect the full brilliance of the people within them.
