Hey there! I'm Augie Emuwa, an educator and entrepreneur passionate about making a positive impact through innovative and equitable approaches. My background and experiences in underserved communities have fueled my drive to support people-centered movements, even in the workplace.
With 20 years in education and eleven years in school & organizational leadership, I discovered my love for writing, storytelling, and public narrative. I believe in the power of sharing stories to inspire change and promote equity.
Right now, I'm rocking the role of lead consultant at Identity Capital Consulting. This gig allows me to directly support schools, companies, and nonprofit organizations in improving their legacy and positioning their true brand identity. It's an exciting space to be in because I get to combine my educational expertise with my entrepreneurial spirit.
My educational journey includes a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Management from Jackson State University, along with two Master's degrees—one in Teaching with a focus on diverse learning, and another in School Administration & Organizational Change from Roosevelt University. I've also received leadership training through New Leaders, a national principal selection pipeline founded at Harvard University. Learning from mentors in both public and private sectors has further shaped my passion for what I do.
But here's the best part: I'm not alone in this mission. At Identity Capital Consulting, I work alongside a team of passionate individuals we call "Identity Catalysts." Together, we collaborate, brainstorm, and bring our collective expertise to the table, driving positive change and making a difference. Join us as we strive towards a more equitable and inclusive future!
